A Journey’s Gratitude — The Roots of Magic Hour Camp
In this forest, we celebrate the nature, contributing to the growth of the forest. Without relying on public utilities, we use compost toilets to return waste to the soil and spring water to sustain life, enriching the earth and creating a system that supports the forest’s vitality. This is our sustainable approach, where people and nature live in harmony while nurturing the forest.
Through our connection with everyone, we continue activities to transform dense coniferous forests into natural forests where diverse life can thrive and circulate. Starting from the humble, handcrafted efforts of a couple, and enriched by encounters with our guests, we aspire to create a “green oasis” that sends seedlings into the future. In doing so, we aim to build sustainable forest cycles and pass them on to the next generation.
We, as a couple, searched for a place to live and traveled repeatedly until we finally arrived here.
2015 As we explored the nearby mountains day after day, we began to understand the environment and its challenges. It was then that we started walking toward our dream of creating, with our own hands, an area where nature and people could come closer together. We cut trees, built paths, planted vegetation, and poured our hearts into making this a place where people could come and create special memories.
2025 Arriving here is also our way of giving back for the love and courage we received through our journeys and encounters. We wish to continue evolving this “oasis of nature and people,” and to pass it on to the next generation.
And from this place, you can gaze upon the timeless, majestic presence of Mount Fuji.
